Dependência Espacial entre Fatores Socioeconômicos e a Mortalidade por Suicídio:
Uma Revisão Sistemática

Suicide is defined as death resulting from self-inflicted, conscious, and premeditated injury, constituting a complex and multifactorial phenomenon that represents a serious public health problem. This study aims to analyze the scientific production regarding analytical approaches to Spatial Dependence between socioeconomic factors and suicide mortality. A systematic literature review was conducted, according to the PRISMA and JBI protocols. The Ebsco, Lilacs, Pubmed, PsyNet, SciELO, Science Direct, Scopus, Web of Science, and Wiley Online Library databases were searched using the descriptors "Suicide" AND "Spatial Analysis" AND "Socioeconomic Factors". The bias of the studies was assessed using the JBI Appraisal Tools. The investigation resulted in 286 studies. After applying the exclusion and inclusion criteria, 9 articles were included in the systematic review. Of these, 5 presented a low level of bias and 4 were classified as moderate. It is observed that the set of socioeconomic factors has effects on the spatial distribution of suicide mortality. Socioeconomic factors have a spatial dependence on suicide mortality, indicating the existence of spatial clusters.
