Abstract

ABSTRACT: According to Rita de Cássia (2003), tourism is a social practice that has been changing throughout history and each new definition is a new attempt to conceptualize something that has, admittedly, an unquestionable dynamic. This is a research developed as part of the CNPq project (MCTIC/CNPq n.28/2018 (protocol 429976/2018-6) developed between the years 2019/2020 by the GIDs Research Group. In the first phase of the project, a tourist inventory to obtain data, as well as a planned field visit schedule to get to know and obtain data for the second phase of the project, which consists of mapping a tourist itinerary and writing a scientific article. geosites, handicrafts, churches, events, museums and routes. Therefore, the second phase of the project was interrupted due to the pandemic around the world, in relation to Covid-19, the quarantine and restrictions on visits to public places, the two was interrupted, considering only some information obtained through personal contact with the secretary of tourism in the municipality of Cabaceiras.
